Animal of the Day

Happy Thursday! Today's Animal of the Day is the MONKEY!

Monkeys and Gorrillas are part of the Primate Family. Gorrillas walk on their knuckles so all their weight won't go on their hands. Smart Primates!

Do not make direct eye contact with a Monkey for more than 4 seconds. After that they will perceive you as challenging them! Squee! You don't want to get in a staring match with a Monkey!

A group of Monkeys is called a Troop. So if you see a bunch of people acting like Monkeys, you should call out to them, "Hey you Troop of crazies! Stop Monkeying around!"

Monkeys eat fruit, grass, insects, leaves, grass and spiders! Wouldn't it be cool if you had a pet Monkey that can take care of any critters that find their way into your house?

Have a good day!
