Yeo's recent claim to fame has been his series of collages, using pornography as the medium. "It is an obvious material to use for portraits." he says. "All the skin tones are there." Artist of the Day
Thought I try something new on the blog, by occasionally profiling an artist of interest. Today's artist is Jonathan Yeo. Yeo is one of England's most successful portraitists and has painted the likes of Tony Blair, Rupert Murdoch, Nicole Kidman and David Cameron. The David Cameron portrait sold for $320,000.
